The Journey

Childhood

I was born October 21st in Stavanger, Norway. I am the youngest of three sisters. The rebel, the one who doesn't like to be told what to do.

Motherhood

I became a mother at the age of 20, 22 and 26. While I was studying I raised three boys. One of them came up with the word "Gleding" as an antonym to bullying.

school

My first day at school - I never liked it. There were a few nice teachers. I was on the students board. But I never managed to make close friends my age.

From being employed to becoming a founder

2014 was the year where I left my safe job as a consultant - working with leadership training and organisational culture to starting my own company.

Tennis

Being alone on that court, in a foreign country - having the crowd against you is quite tough. Tennis gave me several junior championships. But more important than the trophies it gave me resilience, a global perspective and self discipline.

Gleding to the world

Today I feel a deep gratitude. I am living my purpose and the stories of impact from Gleding moves me to tears every time. I strongly believe that empathy and gleding change lives, families and communities.
